Facilitating learning in a workshop classroom is exciting and exhausting. Most days, I am conducting some type of formative assessment to guide my instruction....which can change my lesson plans quickly. Monitor and adjust :) To help keep me on track, I've created a few resources so that I can be effective with my time.
First I created Student Snapshot views for each student in Reading and Math. They are aligned to standards so can also be a great anecdotal note when it comes to report card time.
Next, I created anecdotal notes/checklists where I can get a quick view of my class as a whole, for Reading and Math. Newly added is a special CGI anecdotal note/checklist. I love this! It helped me to differentiate and have group conferences to meet students right where they needed. Check out the links below.
