Here is how I organize my digital files on my desktop. I love how I can set up all the files I need for each day of the week. I can also organize other files, projects, and resources. It's the simple things that make me happy while I prepare and create instructional materials. This desktop makes me happy. Click here for your own digital desktop organizer at my TpT store. |
| This past year, I got rid of my desk and moved on to a table. I LOVE IT! My students love it too. I covered the table with white board contact paper so when I have small groups or I confer with a student, we write on the table and students can't wait to come see me! If I am just working with a few students, I use a tablecloth on 1/2 of the table. It makes me feel like I'm at home, nice and cozy. I love the flexibility of the space and the simple organization. I will never go back to a desk again. In the middle of the year, I added these stackable trays to my table. Each of the white stackable trays houses papers for each day of the week. One set of trays are labeled with the days of the week in blue, and the other set in black. So in one 9 x 12 area of my table, I have all my papers ready to go for two weeks. The blue/green trays are for the students. One is for students to turn in their papers, while the others are labeled "To Grade", "To File", and "To Copy". Again there in one 9 x 12 area is a stack of "Things to Do". Simple and effective. |
Thanks to the Organized Senorita, I always get compliments on my teacher binder organizational system. I use binders instead of file folders and love the way these binder covers keep my bookshelf organized. Resources are easy to find and the simple color coordination makes me happy. |
